hey just had training tonight and my boots and socks are on their final legs, i am wondering does anyone know of good quality socks or boots at a reasonable price going from shops like jjb and such, or any shops around the north wales, chester way?

my current pair are assics and after wearing them today i have got a blister.

so any info would be welcome, aiming to spend no more than £40/ £50 tops

I use the Adidas Flanker IV wide foot (even though I am a back). A few years ago was about £75-£80. Now, stores are getting rid of inventory and it is £30 here:

The Adidas Adidas 915 IV SG was also an expensive boot and is now £40 at the same place. These are good bargains on boots which I know are comfortable and appear last.

Addidas flankers are great boots, if you can get old models then they are normally good proces.
I'm a prop and use the size 13, wide fit - soft ground. Gives you the longer studs - think they were about £40 when I got them.
Try online store - Lovell Rugby

Would recommend Lovell Rugby or if you are in north/east London Morrants in Woodford have some bargains in their retail outlet. Lovells are currently doing Adidas Flankers wide fit for £30 including free personalisation if that floats your boat.
