Went through a Hitchcock phase a while back...enjoyed Rear Window and Vertigo but for the life in me, couldn't see the fuss about Psycho (maybe not enough dead hookers)

Am a bit of a Hitchcock fan but the quality of some of the films varies quite dramatically. What's in the set, Jeff?

If it's in the set, I'd start with Strangers on a Train which is my personal favourite. Then would be looking out for Spellbound, Notorious, Rear Window and Vertigo.

Of the rest, The Trouble with Harry, Marnie and Torn Curtain are also well worth watching. A pretty decent return for the money.

I undersold a few of the films. Rear Window and Vertigo are brilliant (although Vertigo is still overrated).

I'm guessing jeff found the money in the collar of a dead whippet and is splashing out on a rare treat.

Have not watched it yet this evening. Will watch it in the morning whilst I am waiting for TSMR to get ready. Used to avoid doing this as I convinced myself my tiredness was impacting on my ability to get questions right. I have since come to accept it is more down to the fact I don't know any of the answers and the time of day and my tiredness or otherwise do little to change that.

I am familiar with iplayer and laptop, the other two are a complete loss to me.

Shall we get a team together for eggheads. Think between us we would not be bad. Superfly seems pretty clever. Jules has a wisdom through his age and obviously I am proper bright. Tina, Rick and Sean can fight it out for the last two places. I am not taking Kevin on though.
