I'm not sure if this is scripted or not, but it looks completely off the cuff. How good would it have been to be there!

I posted something up on another thread stating that they're planning stuff like this, to use outside sites to continue the feud.

According to IGN, during the WWE's Comic-Con presentation, which involved HHH, Rey Mysterio and Bret Hart, CM Punk crashed the party. Punk used a bullhorn to announce himself, and had the WWE title with him. He took the mic, which was designated for fans asking questions, and then spoke. He was not happy that WWE was trying to crown a new champion, and then challenged Rey, or anyone else who wanted to be champ, to head out to Chicago to take him on.

Punk then continued on, questioning HHH and Brain Gewirtz as to why Zack Ryder wasn't on TV. HHH then told Punk that things had changed on RAW and that there was a new regime and told him to call him. Punk responded that he was certain Stephanie had his number.

That's one of my worries, that he's just proving too good at present, that he could potentially overshadow anything else that WWE want to run with which includes Rock v Cena at Mania.
Simply put at present Punk is a bigger draw than the pair of them combined.

What i found interesting was that Punk said he was interested in defending the title anytime in Chicago, they could pretty much have titles matches anytime with Punk not on a schedule, use any arena in Chicago, given 4/5 weeks notice on screen the tickets would sell like wildfire

Steady broski... Think your getting a tad carried away there....As excellent as Punk is at present (& i'm no Rock mark, i'd take Punk over The Rock any day) Can't see MITB doing over a million buys - Raw ratings are also down on The Rock's appearances earlier in the year

The more influence Triple H has on creative decisions the better. He has more of an eye for what the modern day casual fan wants than what Vince has I reckon. Hunter gets all the stick in the world but for me he is the perfect giy to take the company forward.

Definately planned, seeing as WWE.com are showing the uncut footage, I look forward to seeing what they do with the planned Mysterio v Miz match for the WWE Title, do they crown a new champion? Do they have it end as a no contest? Do they cancel it completely?

I've said on other threads, I think Nexus will prevent a new champion being crowned.

At MITB, Punk still had "The Nexus" under his name on the ring entrance, so I reckon they still have plans there.

On a seperate note, I impulse-bought Pepsi at the supermarket yesterday, when I never buy soft drinks (I like tap water and beer generally). I fear I may have subconsciously been influenced by CM Punk!?!

personally id have the match and near the end with miz or rey covering have punk appear pull the ref out the ring lay the pair out and run off with the other title aswell and continue mocking from other places.
