Have heard that for years but he's never been allowed with a fighter in the arena as far as I know.

I'm not sure if he's allowed in a dressing room before a fight but I wouldn't think so.

Yeah Lewis is a Ticket, he's been allowed to make a lot of money still. I believe every fighter knows and feels what happens with their hands. Marg was caught but he would have used them if not. Although there's no proof to say it happened before there's also none to say it didn't. If Marg was allowed to take part again Resto should also for me. I think they might allow him but i'm not certain.

I don't because you can't prove Margarito knew he said he never noticed because he was focussed on the fight. Personally I don't believe it but legally they can't prove he's lying. Resto on the other hand can't use that excuse but I wouldn't be surprised to see him being given the go ahead. Personally I would like to see both banned for life and never allowed to fight/train again.

All these apparent negotiations are going on and Oscar de La Hoya is saying on twitter that Bob Arum is still refusing to hold talks.

I know seems a tad suspect doesn't it. All the indications appear to be that Arum is the main reason for this not happening now though.

Thats a decent matchup, would have to pick Burns to win it though. Crolla ain't bad, he has improved so much recently it's immense, but not sure he has enough for Burns personally.

Not got the skill or the power to beat Burns. Burns will actually be the puncher in this fight. Sets up a summer fight with Kevin Mitchell quite nicely.

Wonder who Mitchell will face in that time because I imagine he would have been inactive for a fair while at that point, also with Mitchell going to Matchroom and Burns being with Warren there may be difficulty with what channel the fight will be broadcast on, Sky or BoxNation?

Warren says Mitchell will have a ten rounder when he gets his licence back. It may even be on the undercard of Burns vs Crolla.

The guarantee of the winner will keep Mitchell with Warren because he has Murray as well who could well face the eventual winner of Burns/Crolla vs Mitchell.

Warren keeping it in house because Hatton probably had to guarantee Mitchell a shot if Crolla beat Burns.

Possibly, there is a chance Broner was a bit too big and hit too hard though, not really an elite fighter yet though because for me he hasn't actually proven it against a genuine world level opposition. Then again the SFW division is poor.

I think it was a steroid they used the medical name for it in the article. This is the problem with not having stringent testing. What if Tua had been badly or critically injured then the sport looks like a joke.

Dave Coldwell who looks after Curtis is good mates with Spencer Fearon. They both think Curtis is perfect for Hard Knocks. He won't get matched easy though that's not how Spencer does things. Hard Knocks is excellent Spencer Fearon is the best small hall promoter in Britain just now.

What you need for small hall shows really though isn't it? The guys that go to small hall shows are generally knowledgable folk so know whats a dud and whats not.

A little disappointed Fists, was considering going to this as it is only down the road but am not too sure now, Matthew is brave as they come but has shown little to suggest he is world class, suppose if Kell can shift him at a weight he is natural at, which Alvarez couldn't do it makes a statement but wouldn't give Hatton much chance in this one.

Yeah, I guess it is a solid but unspectacular fight. Hatton has been in with Alvarez who is a world level operator, and a fair bit bigger, and didn't disgrace himself, so it is clear he is no mug. However, I'd expect Kell to comprehensively outbox him at the very least, with a stoppage win being a decent achievement.

Experience against a pressure fighter is another way of looking at it.

Ricky Burns to take on Paulus Moses on 10 March

Ricky Burns will make the first defence of his WBO interim lightweight title against Paulus Moses on 10 March.

The 33-year-old Namibian won the WBA title two years ago in Japan but lost it after one successful defence.

Moses, known as 'The Hitman', has only been stopped once in 29 fights and has won 19 bouts by knockout.

The fight has been moved back to Braehead Arena because of television commitments after promoters had announced a switch to the Kelvin Hall.

"This is going to be a tough fight," said Burns. "I'll treat it the same way I always do, by giving 110%.

"I need to get by Paulus first to get to the fights that are out there for me.

"I'm looking forward to fighting in Glasgow again after a couple of fights away from home."

Burns' manager Alex Morrison believes Moses will provide a "stiff test" for his charge.

"He's a bit of a knockout specialist," Morrison told BBC Scotland.

"And you don't go to Japan and a win a world title without having something about you."

Burns became WBO super-featherweight champion after a thrilling win over Rocky Martinez in 2010.

After three defences of the title, 'The Rickster' moved up to lightweight and beat Michael Katsidis at Wembley last November to become the WBO's interim lightweight champion.

If, as expected, Juan Manuel Marquez vacates his WBO title at the same weight, Burns could enter the ring against Moses as the full champion.
