Women's rugby - NZ v England annual series announced

From here, WRWC finalists New Zealand and England are to play 3-match test series in England in Autumn 2011 and 2012 and in New Zealand in June 2013 in the lead up to the 2014 World Cup in France.

The Black Ferns have a very impressive international record, having lost just 3 matches in over 50 internationals in the last 20 years. In recent years England's women have passed the United States to become clear 2nd on the pecking order. As it stands the 2 teams will also probably be favourites to contest the Women's Rugby 7s gold medal match in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
