If he weren't Tommy's son, he wouldn't have even got a shot at Sturm in the first place, much less been given another world title bout immediately after being totally outclassed and stopped by the man from Germany. It's ridiculous that he's been gifted another title opportunity, but that's boxing. If he takes this opportunity (which I seriously doubt) to become a belt holder, well done and good luck to him. He is, as they say, a symptom of the problem, not the cause of it.
