Challenge cup final

Early thoughts on who will win the Challenge cup final........... Wigan or Leeds ?
Why and by how many ?


I'm going for a Wigan win 34 - 18 , just simply because i dont think Leeds will stop Sam Tomkins - Lance Todd trophy winner for me .

I'm going for a shock here and say Leeds by 10 with Rob Burrow the Lance Todd trophy winner. I think Rob will start on the bench and then come on and have a huge influenece on the game.

Wigan 64 - 8 Leeds





Only joking, it'll be a fairly close game, but I can't see past a Wigan win.

wigan 20-16, really tight but don't think leeds will be able to stop wigan.

I'll go Leeds 26-22 in a thriller

Wigan. Just too much class all over the team. All set for the shock win for Leeds though.

I'm not confident about my prediction that Leeds will win the challenge cup after yesterdays performance at Harlequins. Some reports suggest that Leeds were dire, but lets not take anything away from Harlequins who still had to win the game. Perhaps the defeat by the Harlequins might focus the Leeds players minds and perhaps they can still cause an upset.

Leeds apparantley picked up injurys to Watkin and Ablett aswell .

i have no idea, more a union fan but managed to get hold of some tickets- i just hope lots of tries

Although as a Leeds fan obviously I'm hoping not! We should have beaten Wigan on both occasions we have faced them this season, but we haven't, which is kind of worrying. Should be a tight game, and lets just hope Leeds turn up for the CC Final this season

I did predict an upset victory for Leeds, then after Leeds dire show against the Quins last time out i thought Wigan, now i'm back to thinking Leeds.

thats what i like about this final people are split , the 2 league games have so close that either team could of won them .

I'm just watching whilst waiting for the Premier League games and I'm wondering how far do you need to go to get a new set of tackles?

So damn annoyed it isn't being televised in Oz. They used to always have it on. Watching rugby test instead.

only if the opposing team have touched the ball in between tackles , then the tackle count goes back to 1

Weird. Anyway, thought we deserved to win the game, stopped wigan playing their usual way and caned them second half IMO. Got mugged by a forward pass and also a bad decision with about 3 mins left to give wigan head and feet when one of their players booted it out! Proud of the rhinos, was a great showing.

I t was a good game and really could have gone either way , Leeds were definatley unlucky with some referee calls .

We all know its hard to be a ref in any sport, but todays ref i thought didn't have a good game. I think the saying is "He had a bad day at the office"

Ref did have a poor game , it's a shame a good game like that will get over shadowed by so bad calls by a referee . I did think the better team won though

I think that if Leeds had got the calls they should have done with the ref and that touch judge they would have won, and in my opinion they would have deserved it, but thats all water under the bridge now, and Leeds have to get this defeat out of their heads and try and get a high a place as possible in the Super League table for a good play off position.

was a good game, wigan deserved the win- was lucky enough to enjoy the match from club wembley =D

not a league fan but some big hits going in and tbf the try from the wigan winger was quality

Pleased you enjoyed it, and i hope you can enjoy the game in the future.

still prefer union mate, but it was much better to watch compared to what i see the crusaders play at the race course- they arent that bad but this was so much quicker and so many less errors
