After discussions with FOF, welcome to the first season of the 606v2IPL.

Basically this will run similarly to other Sports Games with every member of the league taking charge of an IPL side and competing for the title. Firstly I would like to see how much interest there would be in this league.

There are 10 slots available as there are ten teams (Franchises), however I will be taking one of the franchises so 9 other spaces remain. (Now 0 left)

My provisional team only has three of my original squad in it though! Not sure if that says much about my original squad, or just the fact I like tinkering!

Do people think that we should have to say what we would do if we won the toss? Or is that too confusing?

I think we should Gregers, it's an important part of tactics...

Was going to ask what you wanted us to include?

Something along the lines of batting order, and over allocation?

Tactics need:

Batting order
What you would do if you won the toss
And you can do over allocation if you want

----
Something like:

Toss - Bat First
Team
1)
2)
3)
...etc
Bowlers:
Bowler 1
Bowler 2
Bowler 3
etc.

Or just who would open the bowling and who would be the death bowlers?

I have added some of the team lineups that have been posted to the opening post of each thread. Makes it easier for the voters.

I can look into that later, mate.

One idea for the future too could be that each team selects their home conditions.

Would it be best if we moved tactics to be due in by Wednesday at Midnight rather than Saturday at Midnight?

Votes due by Saturday at midnight instead of Tuesday at midday.

One edit only per tactics, otherwise could get confusing

Depends how much you're going to edit it by. I personally think that once tactics are posted that should be that.

I think we should have an auction for that one as well.10 teams named after the posters who take up the team.20 players per squad.Over 250 players in the auction.A team must purchase 20 players in a two week long auction.Players can be chosen from all over the word but based on their f/c credentials rather than T20.
Since this is a brand new tournament no team would have any players in their squad.So no exchanges.No exchanges even after the auction.If you want to buy a player go hard for him at the auction.Each team would be given 20 million.Auction run for two weeks in same way as this one.
Results formed in the same way.
