3rd time lucky for Laura Robson

After coming oh-so-close for two years running, falling at the 3rd qualifying hurdle and once when she led 4-0 in the 3rd set, Laura Robson has made it through to the main draw of the US Open after beating Ling Zhang 6-4 6-3. Great effort Laura! Well done! 
Hope Naomi Broady can make it a double - 1-1 in the 3rd as I write....

Priesty good on her for doing it the hard way i.e. qualifying rather than any wild card.
If she gets a favourable draw she might get through a round or two so it'll be interesting to see how her game stacks up.
