Djokovic's Press Conference...

What was that all about then?

What did he say? didn't see, can't see anything on skysports

They announced on Sky that he had called a press conference - I thought he might be pulling out injured. They then said it would be nothing sensational like that and haven't mentioned it since.

Just the routine pre-tournament press conference that he put off from yesterday due to the weather I'd guess.

This is weird though. Looks like Djoko wanted to say something but the USO shut him up. Maybe he wanted to pull out but the organisers advised him against it...They would rather have an upset than a forfeit.

...just a guess of course.

Maybe his shoulder is worse than we first assumed. He didn't look like for the last few matches in cincy and when he was getting treated on the sideline during the final he was making a lot facial gestures displaying a lot of pain and discomfort? Maybe he was going to go out and expose the draw rigging with him and fed? Just saying.

Yeah I am sure that would go over brilliantly. The fedal loving media would crucify him that is one of the reasons that he doesn't say anything. But I did see one time a reporter comment on how he got federer again in the semi, and in a sarcastic and annoyed way Djokovic was like, "I got Roger again what a surprise." You could tell even he didn't believe it and was a little bit annoyed at the streak.

socal, are you saying Novak has proof of the draw rigging but is keeping it a secret out of fear, thereby placing his own self-interest ahead of the good of the game? Would that be cowardice or selfishness or a bit of both I wonder?
Or did you just make it up on your part to make Novak look bad?

I'll be fine, at this point I think it is almost amusing how obviously the process is being rigged and how everyone wants to pretend like there is no problem.



Julius, Novak would be crucified and possibly suspended and fined for saying anything that suggested the draws aren't kosher. So other than the grandslam committees robbing him of a slam this season what other price should he have to pay?

So he doesn't have proof then? If he did, he needn't worry, his team could just leak it whenever they want.
How you can turn an ordinary press conference into a bizarre "he was going to say the draw was rigged, but decided against it at the last munute" is beyond me.
Unless your "Maybe he was going to go out and expose the draw rigging with him and fed" was just a joke, which is what I'd like to think.

It was a joke Julius a bit of sarcasm, don't overanalyze it.
