A few suprises,

Where is John Yapp?
Paul Tito (c) is dropped to the bench in favour of Deniol Jones
Lewis Jones is the reserve SH over last seasons Rhys Downes
Daffydd Hewiit must be carrying an injury to be dropped to the bench in favour of G.Evans since Hewitt was playing well last season.

Fingers crossed Evans can forge a similar relationship with Lualala as he did with Regan King, as the boy really does have potential, however seemed to have disappeared off the radar in the last few years.

Thats a pretty strong set of backs out considering the internationals are missing, and the pack is pretty strong too.

Weak front 5, they will struggle in the scrums. Other than that a very strong side, shows the depth of the Blues squad. It will be interesting to see Pretorius at 8.

Front 5 isnt that poor considering, 3 internationals and 2 promising youngsters - it will be 4 internationals when Yapp returns.

Front 5 is decent and i think Edinburgh have been hit harder than us in that department.

Looks like a pretty strong team on the whole, hopefully sweeney can put his hand up and make the 10 jersey his own this season.

Do you mean the Blues backrow, because I havent heard of most of Edinburgh's? They are playing in Edinburgh, so do you mean you think that Edinburgh will win but the Blues have a good backrow? Or did you think the Blues were playing at home? Or do you like the Edinburgh backrow over the Blues?

opps meant like blues back row, blues to win by 10 and didnt realise blues were away!

Ah nuts. I think I predicted a home win, but now I've seen the side I wish I could change my mind.

Well, the Blues dont seem to like playing Edinburgh if it helps...although they did beat them 4 times last year (and have them 4 times again this year so will want to prove a point)
