Only place I see a big gap is half backs. I'd take my outside backs over his and see the packs as very evenly matched, probably winning the second row. Home advantage and 22games, 1loss record counts massively though!

You'll always have a biased view looking at your own team. Bekker would walk into the French team imo, they have a glut of good locks but nobody stands out. Bakkies is by the far the best 4 about with Thorn the only player anywhere near. All opinions though.........sadly we don't predo our own team!

Had front row to you, locks edged to him mainly. His back row is better than you in each position. Half backs go to him by quite a way, prefer his centres. He edges the back three, if Gear + Mitchell were on form its a different story.

Yeah of course there is biased, but find it very funny that all of a sudden you are rating Bekker! You weren't that keen on him when I was trying to deal him to you! Didn't you give Castro loads of stick as well, saying he was past it! Don't worry, i'm not that naive, I know people talk about players differently when in their own teams!



Bekker would of course walk into the French team, they only have 1 great lock, who plays for me! Always rated Bekker, I have signed him 3 times for Sarries I think!



Not begrudging a loss at all, no shame in losing to definately the best side in the league this year by miles, but would be interested to see if I got a few predicted wins if I played you at home though.

Yea castro is off a bad season, stick by that. Depends if you rate on form or class though. Big fan of Bekker though, class act.

I rate on class, always have, which maybe could have been my downfall. Hence the signings of Rocky, Nonu, Mitchell, all of whom who were off form or injured at the time.



Maitland over Guildford was my only real error there, just figured Zac wouldn't be anywhere near the NZ squad, but with injuries to Dagg and Hurricanes poor form, he really took his chance well!

So much creativity in Highlanders midfield, only thing that seperates the teams for me.

Highlanders 27-23 Leicester

Afoa's lack of quality is evened up with Hayman not playing Int rugby. Great engine rooms. 6 & 8 to Highglanders and 7 heavily to Leicester. Cooper the difference at FH, Steyn has dropped massivley and I find it hard to rate him in this class. Love both midfields but Highlanders have more in the back 3.

Home advantage and better players in key positions esp 10 give Highlanders win.

Think that i originally had Tigers to just shade this game, but with home advantag being a huge swayer in ET i'm going for the scots. Scots have so many more 'gamebreakers' that would prove crucial deep into a game, Cooper, Jane, Beale, Hook, Croft and Hari all make the difference, with Morne struggling and McAllister unable to change it up.

Alot of those players are what got you the ET win in my eyes, along with Croft
