How come Somerset have 12 players against Hampshire?

They have 12 players with one different batsman in each innings?

Would someone explain to me why please.

Joss Buttler was on England duty for the T20, so someone else played whilst he was away, bit now he's back he takes his place in the team

Wont make a difference, Hants are smashing them

In fairness to Somerset, I make out that three of their top seven (four in the 2nd innings with the return of Buttler) are part of the regular squad:

Barrow
Jones
Meschede
Snell

wouldn't usually play if Tresco, Compton and Kieswetter were available.

Still, you can only play what is put in front of you and I wish Hampshire all the best in avoiding relegation!

Fair point, but Hampshire dont have Cork or Briggs either
