GG's Fantasy League or Shankys Fantasy League

Following on the discussion from GG's thread which would you prefer took place after the IPL fantasy League, Shankys or GG's?

I think whoever votes tell why so that we can get some perspective and changes can be made if necessary.

Personally I would rather do the International Fantasy League, Shankys idea seems similar to the IPL.

But if Shankys wins the poll i'm fully fine with that

No one is in any mood to even listen to my plan.

So I give up.

If yous want both of you's can post your ideas and i'll add them to to the thread so people who don't know them can see.

Can't we just carry on with the IPL and see how it goes.

Then if both Shanky and GG can come to an agreement then their league could start in December

This for after yours Gregers. Shanky and GG both have different ideas on a Fantasy League so with a poll it can be decided which one we go with.

to be honest i dont really care what one we do, im just happy to say, im here to help if needed..

but not sure this is far to gregers to be honest, cant we talk about this after the ipl fantasy league!

CF, doing this now is good so when we all finish the IPL league Shankys or GG's will be on straight after. Rather than discussing and arguing for a week.

My only point is teams should be mixed and this should be done through auction.

Apart from that,you can give me any suggestions on how to improve my league.

A months break is too long.At most,a break of two to three days.

its not just we need all the teams to be taken first, people might want a bit of a break from fantasy league first..

i dont my team is chosen, but others might not..

After giving it some thought I have decided to let GG have the first crack with his league.Once that finishes,we can start my version.

I think we should have an IPL season once or maybe twice in a year at most.We should try out different types of leagues.Thats one of the main reasons I have decided to let GG start his.Its something different.

Sorry Shanky but I disagree with that, I like Gregers' idea and long may it continue. The other gaming sections don't change there leagues why should we?

People have vote for GG's Fantasy League to take place after Gregers'. I would thought Gregers and GG would take turns doing each of their leagues.

thats just your opinon, i myself and im sure not alone on this, actually really like this that gregers has started and would like to do it on a regualr basis

Agree fully with CF. Gregers has started something brilliant and I don't see why it should change.

Whats the problem in trying out a different type of league?
In fact its similar to the IPL the only difference being that this is Test Cricket.

At the moment your the only one who wants to keep changing leagues, other opinions count apart from yours. Gregers and GG's leagues should stay.

You can't just decide what happens and what doesn't happen on here Shanky, sure Fists will have something to say about that. Have you even asked him about your fantasy league?

Liam there is absolutely no need to react like that.I am not deciding anything.Its just a suggestion.

You just said "The IPL can start once again once my suggested league finishes."

That sounds more than a suggestion to me.

i would rather, and now this is just my opinon lol..

that we do gregers cos it is awesome, and GG'S see how that goes, we dont need 3 or it will get too confusing, and also some of us are starting to get busier now

No it doesnt.It just suggests to me that people are more interested in GG's league atm than this one.That doesnt mean that my idea is bad though as you are trying to imply.

Guys I too am a student.But I find enough time to post over here as well as on other boards.And I wont ask for much of your time if in case my league does start.

I honestly dont know why the same people who think the IPL league is awesome think that a similar league but one which is based on Test Cricket is a bad one.

No I dont think 3 is a problem.Its only 3 Leagues and there are 12 months in a year.

Anyways I will discuss it with the mods.

Lets get to week 7/8 of the IPL before thinking about another one

And lets not get worked up about it, these sort of things should only be a bit of fun. And I for one and loving my IPL league atm!

This. I think we should all have this discussion once more when we're well into the IPL, as then we'll know if we fancy a break from fantasy comps, or if we think they're great and want to keep doing lots, or just stick to a couple which we have several times a year, or whatever. Let's just see how things are in a few weeks time...
