First topic message reminder :

As you know, we are doing a interactive session with Primetime during the fight tonight.

As one of the opening discussions, Steve Bunce has contacted us with the following message:

I'm rating Mayweather through the ages...Olympic feather, super-feather,
lightweight, light-welter, welter and light-middlle. Let's look at fighters
at those weights who would have beaten him....simple.

Yeah, not surprising. Not sure Vargas deserved it, and he looked very poor after all the hype from the Mayweather camp.

Vargas vs Khan? Not for a long long time, if Vargas has any sense.

Also, is it me, or does Khan look a hell of a lot bigger than Vargas at the weight.

Buncey, how would you see Mayweather vs Naseem Hamed going at say a catchweight between featherweight and super-featherweight?

My own take would be a Mayweather UD, though Hamed's power and unorthodox style could cause a few problems along the way.

please read out the punch Stats of the McCloskey fight to Khan, then ask him how he feels about The FACT that McCloskey has beaten Prescott (not suffered a 54 second embarrassing hammering). the guy is deluded and I expected a straight talking man like yourself to mention something!

He read out comments posted by members of the various forums involved, and in some instances discussed those comments.

606v2 got 5 or 6 mentions, I believe.

He definately read out messages from John Wayne, one of the Captains and Jimmy Stuart, although it was brief there was a few other websites involved and there was too much boxing to get through to have much studio time. John's was a baldy question to Bunce which they had a chuckle about.

Steve, just last week we were discussing ways of ridding the sport of the proliferation of belts, ensuring that the best fight the best, and having just one champion again per division. One suggestion was that it'd be nice for a multi-billionaire to come along and buy out all of the governing bodies. Can you suggest any other ways that could correct the wrongs and rid boxing of this 'disease'?
