Lydiate and hook both off for immediate scans.

Hook on his shoulder, Lyds on his ankle.

Hopefully precautionary.

Hook being taken off half time is a good sign that it's not as bad as it sounds and with Lydiate he walked off the field so lets hope it's just a slight strain.

Both worrying injuries. We missed Lydiates work at the ruck when he went off. Powell put in good shift defensively, but it did upset the balance. Ryan is due back now though, which will be a massive boost.

Not wanting to jump on this thread but D'Arcy and Paul O'Connell from Ireland are having scans today too. apparently Rob Kearney has some tightness in his legs from having not played much, but he should be fine. There's nothing about Cian Healy's thumb, so I'm assuming that's fine.

I hope Darcy recovers! O'Connell wil be a bit of a blow for Ireland, but I'm sure he will be fine.

Wales and Ireland had some bruising encounters this weekend.

We always knew there would be causalties in Wales pool, ideally we need makethe most of this 8 days off and give a few lads a rest for the Namibia game, before going all out against fiji, then maybe, just maybe Ireland in the quarters, before we beat (hopefully) England in the semis, before losing to whoever survives the South Africa, New Zealand and Australia route! Let's hope so..!

Glad to see gethin pull through fit, very effective too. Especially with Powells reluctance to tackle, think, help his team win.

After Andy Powells display I wouldn't be to upset if he tripped on the stairs and we were forced to bring out someone else.

I'll be worried if we get to a QF with Ireland. Could it be a repeat of their Grand Slam 2009 win all over again I ask myself...? Yikes

Should be a good craic with plenty of hwl.

Still both have long roads to travel first. May well be Italy vs Wales and Ireland vs SA or Samoa..?

No one knows yet
