Barclays out as Scottish Open sponsor?

Any ideas who will take over?
Seems they're still in for the Singapore event but what about the Barclays event in the New York area, FedEx Cup opener?

It has been confrimed barclays are officially out of the Scottish open, been a bit off a torrid year for their events, with both the Scottish and the FedEx being reduced number of hole events due to weather, possibly why they are out of the scottish as from what I hear on the inside they are not happy with the event now at Castle Stuart and not Loch Lomond!

Maybe the forerunner of the so-called double dip recession and all the banks are taking a bath at the minute. Symptomatic for all things in major endoresemnts/sponsorship at the moment, So Finchem will be sweating over the pond.

But it may well be as simple as they were not happy about leaving Loch Lomond

I thnk they'll find a sponsor, prime date, good field... Phil may not be back though...

Buckfast or Irn Bru do you think.

Or could it maybe be the megga rich old guy that the R&A recently broke their rules to allow him to join.
