Was think about Mr H's comment about HBK having two 5 star matches 15 years apart it got me thinking about stars at their peak.... When was Shawn's peak?

So of the guys below when does everyone consider their 'prime'.... If we stick to a Span of no greater than 3 years

I agree with everyone of your picks Brady apart from Michaels. I'd say 96-97 was his prime. Winning the Rumble and then the WWF Championship in the Iron Man Match, The Kliq, winning the European Championship from Davey Boy in England and the heat that garnered, the 5 star match with Taker in the cell at Badd Blood, the forming of DX, the Montreal Screwjob. For me it was them 2 years which made Shawn Michaels and he excelled like never before. Granted he amazing in 02-05 but i'd side with the 96-97 period as being his prime.

I probably agree I was certainly my favourite Michaels era... His heel character around the formation of dx was incredible. Guess I didn't want to be seen favouring my favourite rather than what is perceived as the best. Many wrestling personalities have said Michaels was an even better performer post back injury

Agree with Kane & Rock.... Jericho is a tough one, I love his best in the world gimmick... Big Show surely his peak was 96-98 he was at his hottest when he was first introduce after that he got fat & lazy

What about bumping Foley up to 04-07? Cant argue that he helped throw both Orton and Edge through the glass ceiling and into superstardom.

I personally wouldn't, I never liked 'Mick Foley' the character, I loved Cactus Jack and Mankind though, no doubts he helped make Edge and Orton but for me he is the guy who truly made The Undertaker, Triple H and The Rock, for me those three are far bigger names to the business from a money and visual prespective
