Is it any wonder that Rugby League fans in Australia have so little confidence in the ARL when it comes to keeping Rugby League the No1 football code in Sydney.

It does seem rather odd that they didn't realise he was unable to be selected .

To me this shows how incompetent the ARL are.
I think it was the great Jack Gibson who said words to the affect that despite the incompetent ARL running Rugby League in Australia Rugby League was still a success in Australia. Nothing alters it appears.

Actually I was more surprised that Josh McGuire (and Corey Parker) were even being considered for the Australian side,irrelevant as to whether he was committed to another country.

He was picked in the squad as he has been the form prop in the comp for the last 8 weeks. Parker is very much under rated. He has the highest stats in the comp and I think is the best lock in the comp.
