Long time "voyeur", first time poster

I am playing fantasy football for the first time this year and was wondering what happens if I decide to drop andre johnson. Do I get first dibs on getting him back when he is ready to play, or will it go through the waiver and the most in need will pick him up?

Welcome to the board! If you drop him (I wouldn't!) then whoever has the worst record at the time he is on waivers has priority to select him. If you were in the lead, you would have last priority and I am pretty sure he would be picked up straight away

Does your league allow you to put a player on Injured Reserve? My league we can place one player who has been declared out on Injured Reserve allowing us to pick up a replacement. Once the player on IR is healthy, the owner has to drop either the replacement or IR player.

I am not sure actually, I did have a look last night but Johnson is now down as an active player. Is the injured reserve a standard thing for NFL fantasy?

On a side note, as a texans fan, i really hope they don't rush Andre back.
