Only one venue
As the title suggests, if you could only fish 1 place for the rest of your days which would you choose?
I`d plump for the Norfolk Broads for the scenery and sense of remoteness you can find there, plus some cracking fishing.
over too you ladies and gents

I'd plump for a small river somewhere in mid-Wales. Fantastic scenery, middle of nowhere, and same fantastic fishing.

I`d agree with that also, anywhere your phone doesn`t get a signal is a big plus for me

I fished Anglers Paradise and with the number of lakes and different species to fish for it would be up there for me .
But if it's only one then the Norfolk Broads would be it , it was the place i learnt to fish . Grandparents would holiday there every year and we would visit for a week , some great family memorys and and my 1st fish a huge roach ( well it was huge to a 5 year old ) a couple of oz and at least 4-5 inch long caught my first perch ,pike, bream there aswell .

Re: Only one venue
I've never fished the broads, given that I live in the Midlands.
So you'd recommend a trip, then?

Definatley , if you can i would recommend going for the whole experience and hiring a canal boat aswell .
Some great fishing and some really nice little pubs along the way to relax and talk about your day in . The locals always make you welcome and they can give you some good tips of were to fish .

Boys trip on the broads sounds fantastic to me, as said above, i`d definitely try to do it on a boat, the smaller the better as you can access some places you can`t even see from the bank let alone fish

The "Norfolk Broads" is quite a big venue, more like hundreds or even thousands of venues. I agree that it's lovely though.
For me it would be the Test or any part of the West Coast with an abundance of lochs and the odd small spate river.

I`m pleased there hasn`t been a single sugestion for a carp stack pond anywhere on the thread, seems the scenery as much as the water dictates where we all would choose to go,,
You could claim as the Broads are all inter conected, that it is 1 (very) large body of water they could be classed as a single fisheries but i see your point barrystar,,(still my favourite though)

You could say that about the sea and every river/lake/canal system that is connected to it as well leaving only a few lakes, ponds, and reservoirs which don't have water flowing out of them into river systems and ultimately the sea....
I see your point too though.

Re: Only one venue
tough to choose one place, to be honest i would love to fish the river severn constantly. But i would like to fish in france, where you could buy a house, which has the lake backed onto it, and thus you own the house and lake.
