3 quick things:
1) Don't rush straight into dealings as existing managers will know who is rated and you could be getting fleeced. Take stock a bit and work out your best team and where you need to improve first.

2) Zarate is on loan, but you will get him back at the end of season 1. You can negotiate for him to return early, but it will cost and for a player of his ability, it will cost a fair bit

3) I will post more info on how you can buy/sell players later.

Right Mr Hat.

You can buy and sell as follows:

Domestic - you can negotiate and buy and sell, with other managers in teams in the Furious League (all 3 leagues on here). There are no restrictions on this other than what you can afford.

Transfer Pending - you can buy players from outside of the league through Transfer Pending (or TPs). TPs open and close at different times. There are fortnightly-ish windows during which you can do TPs. Within the window, they operate on a daily basis. Each day (Monday to Friday), you can make an enquiry for a player up until 3.30. At 3.30 the TP committee (me, Nick and Viva) will decide whether to accept (you get the player), reject (you don't get the player) or negotiate (you need to make a better offer). It is a realistic league, so only realistic deals will be allowed - we judge, would the deal happen IRL.

Lawyers every week you get 2 offers for your players from outside the league. You can choose whether to accept or reject the offer, but there are no negotiations. New lawyers are posted on a Monday and you have until the end of Wednesday to accept/reject otherwise the offer expires.

Releases you can release a player. If you do this, then you get either half of what you paid, or half their market value if you didn't buy them.

We ask that you keep a tracker of your budget and all the ins/outs as we occasionally check that noone has too much. Also, all deals should be confirmed on Transfer Confirmation.
