Massive shoutout to Rhodri and Liam Williams, Adam Warren, Kieron Murphy and Matt Gilbert. Shows how hard work can pay off.
Stodds not considered due to injury
Overall, I'm pretty happy with that squad.

If we keep our props fit, we should be get the possession needed to be an exciting, challenging team.

True Glas, and I think most of our props can cover both LH and TH so we should (fingers crossed!) avoid the disaster situation of last season.
according to the SF website, 13 of our squad have never played a HEC game! Inexperience all the way...

After what inexperience did against experience at the weekend I am more than happy with that squad. I think that we used the LV= the right way this season and hopefully we can maintain a the momentum this weekend to lead us into the HC nicely.

I'd be happy if they play the way they did against Leicester, even if we don't qualify. It was like the good old days, pace, skill and flair. I'm really excited about the rest of this season.

Re: Scarlets HC Squad
Although Stodd's is injured he could have still been named in the squad. He'd walk into the team if fit and surely he isn't out for the entire competition? Yet Fenby is selected in the squad, that guy is such a poor player.

Re: Scarlets HC Squad
I think Stodds is not named because he would need to prove he is back to match fitness etc in the Rabo (or LV=) before he would be thown into the deep end of HEC rugby. And whilst he is a talented player he may well take a few weeks (or a month or two) to get back to playing with any decnt form. I believe you are allowed to make a certain amount of changes to the squad through the group stages (1 a block I think) and no doubt if he has proven form and fitness he will be switched into the squad.
I do not agree with you when it comes to Fenby. I think he is a decent attacking rugby player, and he has developed more to his game than just running. But I will concede that he is not back to his best form yet, but seems to be getting better each match. As far as fullbacks go the Scarlets are most likely going to have Priestland, Dan Evs and Newton before Fenby for the HEC, and on the wing we will most likely have Lamont, Maule/Williams (who ever misses the centre shirt), and North before Fenby.

I think you are way to harsh on Fenby, he is as SS says a good attacking player and links up well with the other backs, he can also play pretty well at FB

Re: Scarlets HC Squad
Annoyed that Stodds isn't in there and it's risky as you can't make many changes to the squad in the HC so we have to hope not to have the injury crisis we had last year.
I hope we don't need to call on Rhodri Williams against any of the sides as he's not ready for HEC action yet.

Fenby's legs work faster than his brain.

Re: Scarlets HC Squad
you can make changes after the group stages can't you? I think you can make a couple, something like that anyway. Reckon we'll need Stodds in order to get out of the group stages though.
You must be able to add players though, because didn't we have to add Gardiner last year?
Glas - you've summed up Fenby very well, he's not called crazy legs for nothing.
