Cardiff Blues and London Wasps come to agreement over David Young

Cardiff Blues and London Wasps confirmed today that following a process of mediation, an agreement has been reached regarding the contractual impasse over Director of Rugby, David Young who left the Blues to join the London club during the summer.

Understandably, the terms of the settlement are to remain confidential will all parties now keen to move on and focus on their respective challenges.

Cardiff Blues CEO, Robert Norster speaking of the news said,

"We are obviously pleased to finally bring this contractual dispute to an amicable resolution and wish Dai every future success in his onward career with his new club."

I imagine this scenario as being very similar to when 2 people call a dog to come to them at the same time leaving the dog to choose who it loves more.

Of course, like in all of those situations, one of them has a secret bone/treat for the dog the other person knows nothing about.

I would think it's a well if you release Edwards from his contract then we'll call it even.
