Meet & drink - mark your calendars

Fellow 606v2rugby-ers, with Yule and the winter solstice fast approaching, it provides the perfect excuse for meeting up for drinks with some fellow enthusiasts. We've got two opportunities in the offing:

1. On Thursday 8th Dec. (6pm onwards), we will be meeting to bid adieu to my compatriot, funnyExiledScot, who returns north of the border to take up residence once again in his homeland - the venue will be the usual, the fantastic Ship Tavern in central London. fES has suffered the trauma of being a Scotland supporter living in England with dignity and calmness over the last decade, but with Scotland's stock on the rise (?!) he returns to Edinburgh to book his slot on the bandwagon. Please join us to send him off in style

2. On Monday 19th Dec (6pm onwards), we will be meeting for festive drinks, also at the Ship Tavern

The usual suspects (KiwiRedDevil, Hughie1986, The_Hound_of_Harrow, RiskySports, OzT, nickj, fES and myself will all be there and would welcome all comers to either or both sessions - with representation from Australia, England, Ireland, New Zealand and Scotland, we've nearly got all the bases covered, but there must be a few Welsh, South African, French and Argentine posters out there that would complete the group.

I'll be there on the 19th. Dancing girls?

Aye, yappy, usually 4-5 good ones on tap, the selection varies but usual suspects include London Pride, Deuchars, a Yorkshire brew, a Norfolk Brew, and a Cornish brew

Never liked London Pride that much but after that i'm pretty easy to please, any of those would be better then Stella etc!

They have a very nice 16yo Black Bush

I get back from the Dubai 7s on the 7th so I could make the 8th too. I'll consult with the liver beforehand

Good morning fellow v2-ers, today is a very exciting day as it marks the official start of the 606v2 festive calendar. Tonite we gather in the Ship Tavern near Holborn tube to bid adieu to esteemed poster funnyExiledScot before he returns north of the border to a new job in the NY.

Tomorrow, v2 goes on tour - a bunch of us will take in Cardiff vs Edinburgh, Scarlets vs Munster, Bath vs Leinster before we reach the cherry on the Figgy pudding of Exeter Chiefs vs Newport-Gwent Dragons. Along the way we will meet either pre-arranged or by accident many fellow poster and share a , a and a
