Looks like the build up to the 1872 cup is starting.

I suspect that this year under the new SRU, and the teams both doing well that this could be the best year yet.

Have the SRU pulled out the stops to advertise it this year, does it feel more exciting than in previous years?

I know most Scottish fans kinda support both teams, but is their a heightened sense of wanting to beat your neighbour this year?

How do Scottish fans feel about it? Are the SRU biulding into a proper grudge Derby, and is it being promoted better? could the SRU do more?
