Why Cena-Kane-Ryder Ended RAW

Officials wanted John Cena in the closing segment so there would be an "Indiana Jones-like" cliffhanger to end the show. The feeling was that the CM Punk segment wouldn't be exciting enough and Chris Jericho's return wouldn't be a good way to end the show.

It had to be anyway. They couldnt have a world title match after Kane putting a hole in the ring and then setting it on fire.

was probably the best way to end the show i reckon, plus at shot 21 LCFC says, no match could really have taken place after Kane put the whole in the ring, although it probably would have been funny to see punks reaction to it.
