Entrance music

This isn't another 'what is your favourite entrance music?' article, but more an article asking- how important do you think entrance music is in shaping someone's character? I certainly don't think it could ever be classed as irrelevant, with a clear example being Cody Rhodes. Would he have been able to sustain anything like the push he had in 2011 with his old, generic rock entrance music? Also, look at Triple H, John Cena and especially Undertaker, three of the company's biggest stars, who have become defined by their music. Thoughts?

I always thought it was less about the music, and more about the 1st thing you heard to generate the pop.
Meaning, Austin's music was so-so, but the moment you heard breaking glass, you knew someone was about to eat Stunner...
Same with Edge, Trips, Rock, Jericho, words are spoken, pyro hits, mark out, then music.
Kane's fire, Takers bongs, Angle's fanfare, anything that immediately gets the crowd on it.

I always used to love Punk's old music because of the screamo beginning it really suited him when he was playing the straight edged saviour.

Even though Cult of Personality is a much better song. This Fire is alot more suited for a wrestler.

Also prefer Orton's old music. Doesnt sound right when the beginning is just a dude screaming his head off.
