Won the IBF lightweight belt off Jesus Chavez 5 years ago. Lost it straight away too Juan Diaz. Has lost every other time he has stepped up. Hasn't fought in a year. Is currently ranked 36th at WELTER. so not even a ranked light welter fighter

Sure they said that Dale Miles had a fight against Woodhouse lined up on Prizefighter.

Just checked McCloskeys twitter (i do despise that THIS is where things are heard first now but its the world we live in :/ ) and he's been having a slagging match with Malignaggi recently, would that be a better alternative? Another ex Khan victim so he can "earn" his rematch...

And he's been replaced by...DeMarcus Corley.

Jesus wept. Surely they could have found a better alternative than a 37 year old that's lost 8 of his last 10 fights?

They seem half serious about McCloskey, personally don't think he has what it takes.
