Quite quiet so far. I can see it getting till 7pm and then exploding! And bets if we see a million pound player this auction? For me, if it's not Dhoni then no-one will top 1 million!

well they're quite a lot of teams and not many "star" players so I can see the bidding going quite high on a few of those. All quiet so far, I expect because no one has quite so much money, people are hedging a bit.

I dunno. There are more players in this auction, and with everyone starting with the same amount of money as the IPL but with more overseas players to sign... I'm not sure someone will.

I have my targets already, and am anticipating a battle to get them.

Though JDizzle's point about the number of players to sign is a good one. Is paying over the odds for one "star" better than picking up 3 pretty decent players, given budgets?

It does make the comp more interesting I think.

I agree, take the IPL, compared to other sides, my Delhi side wasn't spectacular, just full of guys who could do a job, Warner and Sehwag aside.
