France v Ireland= Draw! ! !
Does any one think that this is fair on either team?
Why didn't they play extra time, like they did in the RWC 2003?
Should they consider this for the future?
Surley one team should of come away the winner rather than both teams feeling that they lost the game.
Should this rule be change for the good of the 6ns? and for future tournaments?
your thoughts.

a draw is a draw is a draw.
They say it is like kissing your sister, but it is a lot better than kissing your brother.

No because its not a knock out stage and what after extra time? Penalties?
As a Blues fan I could not face another rugby penalty shoot out, its just tragic.

I don't ever want to kiss my sister, except for the usual peck on the cheek. On the other hand, my neighbor has a sister. I'd like it if I could kiss her instead........biltongbek wrote:a draw is a draw is a draw.

Why didn't they play extra time, like they did in the RWC 2003? Because what is the point when the final positions (after all the games) are done in a League format?
Should they consider this for the future? No

I pretty much feel the same way, but these days I get in trouble for kissing anyone but my wife.

Every time someone reminds me of that, it makes me shudder...
So, thanks

It was a blasted draw...we couldn't knock each other out. Soul destroying stuff - especially for Ireland as it concluded our interest in the competition; France would still have had something to fight for even with the loss.
But that's it. Live with it. A late winning try by a side that worked least in the game to win a game is also tough luck. There are lots of 'unfair' endings but it's the drama of sport and it's why it keeps drawing us back.

Re: France v Ireland= Draw! ! !
Just watched the game on iplayer after being away all weekend. Unlucky Ireland, its so strange when you do so much right in the first half and still do a lot of things right in the 2nd but come away with no points!?! I think maybe ROG should have made an earlier appearance but to be fair Sexton is just playing so well atm so can't really blame declan for not brining him on earlier.
I'm also sorry to read that both o'connell and murray are out for the match against us this saturday. I was really looking forward to the o'connell vs gray match up! But I think it'll still be a really close game. I predict Ireland to edge it, although if Weir gets a start this saturday he has one hell of a boot on him so we might play a more territorial game. Who know's, either way i'm looking forward to it.
Well done Irealnd for getting the away draw!
