Junk Product?

After a bad run of winter commuting punctures, despite doing all what one should (Kevlar tyres, high pressures) I purchased for the first time that so-called wonder product (name omitted for legal reasons) that contains a green substance inside.

Result: a catastrophic "snake bite" puncture after only 5 days that filled up the tyre with the nasty stuff. The wonder tube has been trashed and I've gone back to a conventional inner tube.

I wondered what other users' experiences are?

Was I just very unlucky?
