I dont think a one off appearance or even 2 or 3 would benefit rugby league at all . If he were to come back full time then yes but not just to ' give it a go '

In all honesty if he wants to return to TGG full time he will have to take a wage cut.

this cross code partnership between Wigan and Sarries could open up some interesting possibilities ............what if Wigan bring in Tomkins and Ashton for certain games ? not really fair on the other teams

He's a somebody now he is plaaying union. Why would hhe want to go back to being a league playing nobody. Like all league players, nobodys.
