This morning Warren Gatland called me to say he and Wales had already won the Slam. The mentality is there. I agree with him too btw .

I am really dreading coming on here monday morning if we slip up and England manage to sneak the tournament. Because after all the gloating about the grand slam that has started already, if we don't do it the world will be a very dark and miserable place whilst everyone points out that we are the arrogent ones

Good luck to Wales, but given France have won 7 of the last 8/9 encounters some folk are kidding themselves that it will be a easy. Finishing at home is a big advantage ( England never seem to get that) but I wonder how much influence Yashvilli will have, if he plays well Wales had better look out.

Our record against France is awfull, but our record against them at home is much better than say our record of winning in Twickers...

I'm bricking it now though, as, to be honest, I'm really afraid we will slip at the final hurdle.

On form in the 6 Nations, I don't think France have been that good. However, we've not been firing on all cylinders either. So this is no walk in the park.

We must be favourites, but all that goes out of the window on the day.

But at least this year we DO have a points buffer to keep the title, which I cant see being beaten. But that will be for nothing, if we don't take the big prize.

As I said though, this post was for a laugh, a bit of banter in response to all the media hype that the championship will be decided in the Eng/Ire game. The championship will be decided in the Wal/Fra game, one way or other.

C'mon Wales....

We need tries against France. The points difference in our favour is more to do with our defence than attack.

To be honest I was not as afraid of the match on Saturday last week, but since being in work and having a non-stop "We're going to win the grandslam", "We will destroy France", "Where are you going to celebrate Saturday night" soundtrack off all the fair-weather, international only fans, I am now starting to think that we are going to get our backsides handed to us, and end up in 2nd place.

I really hope we don't blow it, though some of the guys did tense up at Twickenham and in Cardiff in a Grand slam game the pressure will be worse.

So history as well as the bookies are aligning behind Wales.
