with the CC season fast approaching, who do you think will stand out in the CC this season...you can take players from both divisons, who will be the standouts?
this is my side:
1.Alex Hales
2.Wayne Madsen
3.Varun Chopra
4.Jason Roy
5.Sam Northeast
6.Gareth Berg
7.Matthew Bates (wk)
8.Tim Murtagh
9.Tom Craddock
10.Nathan Buck
11.Jack Brooks
i think these players will have standout seasons.

As was I. Chopra is and always will be average, and at 3 Vince will have a standout season. Same with Briggs and Harris with the ball.
Tresco will once again have a standout season

Re: Team of the season
CF - an interesting eleven.
I'll give you
for looking beyond the usual big names.
I'm finding it very hard to predict things. With almost half of this CC season to be played before the end of May, immediate form, fitness and confidence are going to be very significant along with the weather!
It seems particularly absurd that my county, Surrey, only have three CC matches at home throughout June, July, August and September.
Back to your list. Like the look of Brooks whilst Hales has had several good reports. Not convinced by Chopra although he did well in 2011 - suspect that may prove to be a one season wonder. Essex seem to rate Craddock although I think they might be asking too much of a young leg spinner in his first full season.
Pleased you highlight Roy - hope that proves right. I'll repay the compliment and suggest that David Masters will again do very well for Essex.
