Your Semi Finals predictions

I can't remember the last time the F.A Cup looked so open going into the semi finals.

The bookmakers seem to agree with the pricing as follows:

Chelsea 9/4
Spurs 9/4
Liverpool 5/2
Everton 7/2

I doubt we'll ever see a market this close again going into the semi final round of an F.A Cup.

What are your predictions for the weekends blockbusters?

I'm going with Everton to beat Liverpool 2-1. The momentum is with Everton at this moment in time and I am slightly worried about the Reds going into this with their third Goalkeeper. Being a Liverpool fan I hope I'm wrong but I just have this bad feeling!

I think the Chelsea/Spurs match will end in a stalemate and can see it going all the way to penalties. 2-2 after extra time for me.

Hopefully both matches will be humdingers with electric atmospheres!

I'm really concerned about tomorrow, Jones looked really nervy at Ewood despite making himself a kop hero with that penalty save.

Everton are on a superb run of form and I honestly believe they'll stick more than two past us.

I would prefer Everton to win the FA Cup, but I suspect it is going to be a Liverpool v Chelsea final.

Back to earth. Liverpool to win 3-1 and Tottenham to win 2-1. Tottenham to beat Liverpool in the final 2-0.

It's called being realistic, Everton are on a great run of form and we aren't.

What the hell is this game doing on ESPN!! we need to get the FA cup back at its true home on BBC.

Anyway back to the result, I can't see anything other than a Liverpool win. They've had the upper hand on recent derbies and it seems that even though on many occasions Everton have seemed favourites, Liverpool always seem to come out on top. So, for that reason, my prediction is:

Liverpool 1-2 Everton AET

I think it'll go down to penalties after 1-1 after extra time, then hopefully Jones to prove the hero and Liverpool go through.

I think Spurs will beat Chelsea, as Chelsea will have one eye on the Barcelona game and Redknapp will be desperate to get a trophy for Spurs before he leaves for England.

Everton 3-1, Liverpool will be exposed for the over-rated players that they have.

Could you explain who the over-rated players are? With the amount of stick that the Liverpool players get they are anything but over-rated.

The prices reflect the form or lack of form all 4 teams are in at the moment. Everton are arguably in the best form but their worst recent defeat was 3-0 to Liverpool and given that in most derby games the form book goes out of the window then I think one or both will go to extra time with Chelsea and Liverpool reaching the final even though I'd like to see Everton win it.

Really...so the prices that were paid for the likes of Downing, Carroll, Henderson don't count then?

Over paid yes, but over rated no. You have to be rated to be over rated and the general thought is that those players aren't good enough.

Superb second half performance from us. Carroll deserves some credit as well, could have dissapeared after missing that header but didn't, was involved in a lot of our play and deserved his goal.

Bring on the final.

The question is, would Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea swap the FA cup and the Carling Cup for a place in the top 4? I think the answer is no.

Nobody is saying that they would here are they? It's an F.A Cup thread.

If Liverpool win the FA Cup then they have had a very good season. The poor transfer dealing can be blamed on Comolli.

For now im just happy we have made the final .

great performance from the lads, yes people will talk about the second "goal", but Chelsea were clinical, and the other four goals were absolute class. Drogba's record at Wembley keeps on getting better.
