Nole, King of HC, grass and clay?

Right now Nole is the holder and defending champ of AO, USO and Wimbledon which makes him the King of HC and grass. If he wins the FO and it looks like he will win FO and is the favorite to win it in June, that would make Nole the King of HC, grass and clay.

How awesome and cool. King of all surfaces, the GOAT.

Its never awesome when a player wins slams on all surfaces,
just proves the surfaces are all the same.

A few salient stats to date .......

- on Clay : Vilas has 45 titles (most in history) ; Novak has 7

- on Hard: Fed has 51 titles (most in history) ; Novak has 22

- on Grass: Fed has 11 titles (most in history) ; Novak has 1

(ps anyone recall which of our members it was who recently described jersey as "my fave poster" ... or something similar )

Ah yes, thanks Gav, for it was indeed. I can remember the feeling of total bemusement (sympathy almost) when I first read the comment....

I think Jersey is trying to pull the wool over our eyes with these Nole threads.
That much is not hard to cotton onto.

Nole is clearly not the best on every tennis court surface. Despite his wins and tournament record, there are far better players on each surface mentioned.
