beshocked, never go back they say. He was a good player when he first came through though, possibly helped by not being 17 odd stone!

We all knew he was leaving. I presume the only reason it hadn't been announced is that we normally wait until the player signs for another side. Very underrated player for us, but past his prime now and Trinder and May are better options at OC.

He joined Bath straight from school in 1997, Hardly and amateur era as Bath were paying players for many years before that!!!!!

His still only 33, his best could be yet to come!

He'll sign for a low end French team for a couple of years and make sure the retirement pot is nice and full. After that he'll no doubt go on to coaching part time and living the high life the rest of the time.
