Great signing by Roy in my opinion.

Its a very sensible signing, I wonder whether this means that the rumours of his brother Phil being on the coaching staff will end now?

I like this move. Hopefully he continues as a pundit though, I've enjoyed his analysis, hes surprising unbiased.

He's also had no coaching experience before.

I can understand why some would argue it's a good decision because he often as sound tactical analysis as a pundit and was a good player, but pundits have the obvious benefit of hindsight and good player doesn't necessarily translate into good coach.
