No mate, couldn't do that. Carvalho is no longer first choice for Real and has quit Portugal so doesn't have the same standing as he did. It would be a big step down from Chiellini, more than any difference between De Rossi and Higuain imo.

Seems you've warmed to Balotelli as your main striker, so any chance of

Cambiasso + Maicon
for
De Rossi + Rafinha

One gain each there imo.

I'm probably one of the few managers who is unwilling to break the bank for Messi or Ronaldo in that case. Ronaldo & Messi would be quality but it's not worth losing out in 5 other positions pretty heavily (bar the GKs).

No thanks mate. Silva >> Navas and atm Moutinho > Essien for me who has really lost form since his last knee injury. Wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea did not offload him if a suitable offer came in.

Not interested mate. I swapped Ronaldo and Messi in a relatively equal deal and I do see them as almost equal. I think I can get better for an injured di Maria than Navas.
