Froch-Bute official fight thread

Less than an hour to go...

Common sense tells me Bute has got this but I just have a funny feeling it may be Froch's night!!!

I've got a good feeling with Froch in this fight. You get the feeling the underdog tag suits him, and if he ups intensity soon enough he could test Bute's durability.

Froch's going to definitely probably win this. Maybe.

Stating the obvious but if Froch can keep it at telephone box range, I think it's his. Maybe 115-113.

I got 2 quid on draw too and 3 quid on KO for Carl at 8/1

Here's a thought: When Froch was facing Bute's level of opposition, he was levelling them and looking pretty heavy handed too. Any chance, at top level, Bute's power won't actually turn out to be all that?

I've just lumped a ton on Bute at 4/6 and after the day I have had expect a Froch win.

also had Frampton UD and Cote EKO so Im starting off pretty darn well.... for the record I really think home advantage will make the difference for Froch tonight.

To be honest Bute has fought in much bigger atmospheres then this. They are boxing mad in Canada.

I'm gutted, I'm having to work I'm listening on 5 live. I'm hoping for a Froch win and I can see him coming back from a knockdown to get the KO!

However, if my life was on it I'd bet Bute on points.

i doubt the arenas/casinos were jumping like tonight. amercia didnt know what hit them when hatton fans went over for the mayweather fight. i know canada have adopted bute so to speak but doubt the support for the romainian would be like this
