Never fear Bobby's here. Are we going to open the forum up to everyone? I suggest we spam the pages towards closing time in May and get as many 606ers on board as possible. You can't be a bit of wumming!

I agree with everyone on the subtlety of the forum in having no glaringly obvious signatures or pictures – but couldn’t the emoticons be turned off too? Because they are a massive giveaway in work. It’s a problem on BBC’s 606.

I think it would look completely inconspicuous without them.

Long time reader, sporadic poster(got annoyed at mods on 606)
So glad someone has set this up though.

Also didnt really know where to post this on the suggestions board, but have you thought about maybe including a Like feature a la Facebook.
So many times I have gone through a post and thought damn they make a good point, followed by about 8 people sayign agreed or just agreeing with them. With a like feature it would keep some threads less cluttered.

Not being much of a computer person I dotn know how hard it would be to do, but just a thought.

Also just found otu you can edit posts im doing here, but gotta say I like the Notification when someone replies to a topic, nice feature

Nice, I was wondering about that when I signed up, Ive got a few mates who are hockey boys as well, so ill see if they wanna sign up.

Not sure if it is doable due to restrictions with the forum, but I am going to have a proper play later.

I watch the NHL but am not massively into it - I chose my team, Thrashers, by drawing names! I follow British ice hockey and am a Cardiff Devils fan. The Ice Hockey forum is now on the main screen, feel free to get as many people involved as you can!

The formula1 guys seem ok, but i guess if you want the mainstream 606 people to join, its the footy boards where they will come from. Maybes in time, when it appears more and more are joining, the premier league section might need splitting into each team, and likewise the championship teams etc.

I have just added a poker thread as well on the main page.

Not sure how it will be used but I think that there are most probably quite a few who play poker on 606.

Not606 obviously have a huge number already there but I don't believe it's to everyones cup of tea, the use of avatars, images and swearing will make it very hard to go unnoticed on work computers.
