The Tour -Success or Failure? Empty The Tour -Success or Failure?

This thread is NOT about NH versus SH the results would say that it was a failure for NH.BUT in all 4 countries the matches have been close at times. All the sides in both hemispheres have had or travelled key players injured so other players have had oppertunities they other wise would`nt have. The weather is a great leveller ALL the tier one SH sides have been run close or lost in the wet for me this is the way to go.Series return BUT they really need properly thinking out and a couple more mid week matches too AND the timing[7 matches total 3 tests 4 club/provincial matches.More tours to include tier 2 sides, much more enjoyable then one of tests some just for money[3RD Bledisloe?] could be sacrificed..

June tours with 3 tests against SANZAR was an abject failure for the NH teams involved.

Scotland had the right idea.

The only bonus is that Irleand don't have to travel to NZ again for at least 12 years.

Playing these tours in June at season end is mad. Hopefully, there's some change to the season structure before long. Change initiated by the NH unions instead of being led around by the nose all the time.
