Boxing Sheep Season 3 Game 9 & 10 Deadline Tuesday 25/07/12 @3.45pm

First topic message reminder :

Anyone ever play sheep? Basically I'll ask a series of "mainly boxing" related questions and the aim is to answer with the most popular answer. So for example if I asked name a heavyweight champion and 7 people said Ali they would get 7 points. If 5 said Louis they would get 5 points and so on. Whoever gets the most points wins. You would PM me your answers. I've seen it played on other forums and it seems to work well and passes some time.

Seems to be a bit of interest so we'll go again.

I have included the odd non boxing question to jazz it up a bit

OK folks I've decided sheep cant go on forever. What I propose to do is have 8 seasons (we've nearly done 3) The winner of each season will be entered into a tournament of 8 players to decide who is the GOAT.

Obviously the more people we have the better the game so to stop players from winning a game and then not playing till the final there will be a bonus of 5 points for each game you win carried forward to the final. If someone wins more than one game then the best runner up will go through to the final and so on.

owen10ozzy and compelling and rich are the current finalists.

Of course 8 seasons is a long time and the game could fade away before then but that's the plan. Lots of time to book your place in the final. Any questions or suggestions let me know.

I disagree, its endless entertainment. Time to start a campaign. Save Sheep, don't let Paperbag_Puncher win, or (rest, take breaks, sabbaticals, go into temporary retirement or anything else that will result in me actually having to pass time in work by working)

What about two lucky losers on top of the 8 winners. Places to be given to the two players (outside of the winners) who have accumulated the most points. Would reward consistency and participation.

There are 5 seasons left. That will take me at least 5 weeks plus I am off for 2 weeks soon so you're talking 2 months before it ends. We can always bring it back at a later date.

What a way to ruin my day Paperbag!!! Thank you very much! Sorry I have barely entered this week....very busy week at work. Your not doing anymore games today are you?

Probably just await till the next season starts now...useless entering this one since QM seems to have it wrapped up!!

Have to say whilst I dont agree with the game coming to an end....I love the new idea and 5 seasons and a grand final leaves alot of Sheep etc to play!!

(Besides if everyone really wants it to carry on im sure you can be persuaded....and if not ill just swoop in like the vulture I am and continue it Wink

)
