Do you know (or are you) one of these??
The 18 most annoying golfing partners?:

Know one who's a nice combination of 'the human rain delay' and 'the plum bobber' - a bit slow to say the least.

Very good link I like that and for the record I know a Parking lot pro, air counter, volcano, & a delusional guy.
Of all of them we try to steer clear of the Volcano

I'm gonna put my hands up and admit that I have exhibited a number of these behaviours in the past. It's hard to know you're doing something wrong until you are socialised by others. I used to always give out swing advice until once in a matchplay round my opponent told me it was against the rules of golf and I lost the first hole. Since that day I have kept my advice to myself. Other playing partners have pulled me up on talking to my ball and saying things like "be the number", "bite" or "c'mon wind" after every shot. I had no idea I had a problem until a friend recorded me on his i-phone and played it back to me- a sobering experience.

Any chance someone has a link to a text version as the slideshow is a real pain to use at work?

I have been called a slow golfer at times and I admit I can get a bit twitchy on the tee especially with Driver.
My only argument is that I save time by keeping the ball in play more often than not.
Another good golf digest link - laughed out loud at plenty of these!

I'd like to propose another pain in the ariss to this list. It's the playing partner who says things like "Good shot" in all seriousness when maybe you just struck the ball well.....but maybe tugged it a bit into a bunker. That sort of thing.

i'd propose unlucky man, he who either always bemoans his bad luck when in fact he hit a crap shot into the hazard or likewise the guy that say unlucky to you when you hit a bad shot into the crap! no mate it was just crap..

Yeah, that last bit about saying 'unlucky' when in actual fact it was just a pants shot is pretty much a guaranteed teeth-grinder in my experience...
