Draft Info

The draft is scheduled to take place as follows:
Monday 3rd September 2012. 8.30pm BST (3.30pm EST when setting it via NFL.com)

Any requested change of draft date will need majority approval. Time is slightly more flexible if people can be up front about there likely schedule on the day... but appreciate we all have lives and they won't all coincide nicely.

1st round Draft order has been selected at random and then the snake format will do the rest.

Thought I was going to lose the way Johnson started! Left D.Wilson on the bench and thought I'd regret it but was lucky in the end that the Pats finished the game by the 4th quarter

Start to bring in the big points when im in consolation and not battling in the play offs =(

Afternoon all! Have finally gotten around to updating the original post with the final regular season standings and the playoff line-up and results.

Congratulations to wadey101 (2 Addai 4) and skins4ever (At last a QB) for reaching the "Superbowl"!! Good luck to both of you this weekend!!

Congratulations also to Virgil Caine (The Travelling Medicine Show) for finishing with the best regular season record (9-4) and thereby being crowned as the Regular Season Champion.

Final congratulations to Dominic Dicoco (All Of The Lights) for finishing with the highest number of points scored (1254.44) and thereby taking the "Highest Points Scoring" title!

For the rest of us, there's always next year. Actually, talking about next year, I've had a message asking if I want to pre-activate the league for next season. Would just mean that as soon as the NFL gets the game up and running next year then our league will be active straight away. Up to you guys. I'd be up for it so if anyone else is then let me know I'll get it done.

Those of you involved in the waste of time "Consolation playoffs" will notice that I haven't put in the details of that above. Partly cos I'm tight for time right now and partly cos out of principle, I don't want to. Again, I shall bow to popular opinion if you want it in. If I do get a quiet a moment then I will get it done, I promise!

Finally, congratulations and good luck once again to wadey101 and skins4ever!

Cheers Number-25 for sorting out the league this year and keeping this page updated and cheers to everyone involved, it's been fun season!

My reasons for not doing it were actually entirely selfish to be honest.... I'm basically in a big huff that I'm in these waste of time playoffs rather than the actual playoffs. Where's the consolation in "battling" for 7th place???? I better not get started on a rant

In terms of reactivation, yes obvious reactivating the league will happen - so you may as well pre-activate (I haven't received any such message for either the West or the Keeper; but hey)

However as it's a seasonal league you won't be able to do much with the league anyway as nobody will have any players!

Also you need to remove the spoiler tags from within the playoff section of the main post

The Championship game in the East league doesn't look as tense as the West was with 2 Addai 4/ wadey101 currently 26 points in front.

Wow I got the win! Luckily Skins team had a bit of a shocker!

It wasn't looking good when Foster finished with 0.9 points, his only dissapointing score of the season and when Amendola scored -1.5 points!

Marshall, Torrey Smith and the Chargers D managed to pull it back for me though and somehow I'm the champ!

the conslation playoffs had much higher scores then the playoffs lol

happy to take 7th even though i got 119,120 and 111 in the games which would of been enough to win the playoffs had i been in it!

Congrats, well deserved. Don't know how I made the final anyway considering I wasn't a high scoring team. Ummed and ahhed about playing Thomas instead of Johnson, but in the end it would have made no difference. Injuries didn;t help, but you had the better team anyway.

There will almost certainly be some dropouts from last year. Some user will drop off the face of the earth at just the wrong time and miss all the sign ups etc.

For that very reason I wouldn't be rushing these leagues. You have to accept that because this is a forum the later we set the leagues up the more likely it is that the participants will actually be active during the season.

I'm definitely keen again...

Small question regarding FF so thought I'd put it in here. Anyway, I'm looking to set up a league with 2 divisions of 12 (24 teams total). Is there a FREE site that allows two separate drafts for both divisions, where the winners of both meet in the Superbowl?

I know MFL does it but it has to be free.

That just leaves my fellow Redskins fan, skins4ever as the only one not confirmed for next season yet.

Having said that, I couldn't fail to notice Bull openly flaunting himself to the West league in the hope that he could get a trade to their league. I think we need to send a message that the East league plays second fiddle to no-one and propose that if he wants to compete here next season then he is only allowed to do so under condition of paying a forfeit. I propose an enforced name change for his team...... something along the lines of:-

Who da Bears? Who cares?
I love Aaron Rodgers
Jay Cutler is poop

His team name should be changed to I'm a packer. The P is deliberately lower case because it opens the statement up to other connotations.
