Good fight this. Thinking of a flutter. I know Proksa very well but not Golovkin. How does this go?

I hear great things about Golovkin, but the footage I've seen of him makes him look a bit of an untidy brawler. That said, he's supposed to have excellent timing and serious, serious punching power, so I am expecting good things. Proksa is no mug, and pretty unorthodox. I'll be impressed if Golovkin gets him out of there.

Based on the last time you gave me a prediction on one of Proska's fights think I will wait to see which way you go on this one and back heavily on the other guy

It's on the same night as Sturm v Geale. Boxnation have gone for Sturm v Geale.

Chavez Jr v Martinez is on the same night as Lopez v Canelo. Boxnation have gone for Lopez v Canelo.

What the Flip are they playing at?

Anyway, on to the subject at hand! I posted a thread about this a bit back and I've rated Golovkin for some time. He's not just a strong, powerful middleweight (although he is that, make no mistake) he's also an accurate and surprisingly cute one at times. Good at slipping shots, he combines his amateur pedigree with an ability to sit down on solid punches.

I've read stories of him beating up Quillin, Canelo and Chavez Jr in sparring. Proksa, has an awkward style, sort of like a Martinez without the flash of world class talent. The Ouma fight has been referenced, but his last fight was against another awkward fighter and Golovkin trashed him in 3.

Maybe I'm underrated Proksa or overrating Golovkin, but I see Golovkin beating him down before the final bell.

I think Sky Sports have the fight, albeit a delayed showing, since Proska is with Matchroom.

I know it sounds mardy from me, but a channel that's meant to be the country's home of boxing missing out on fights like this is misguided.

Yep totally agree although I'm looking forward to Sturm vs Geale as well.
