get the results of my blood tests in morning , fingers crossed everythings ok so will hopefully be celebrating

Yes , shouldn't of let it get to me ............. think i spoilt things for the wife abit over Christmas , but she soon banged my head into shape

that joke about Hungarians... how they always enter the revolving door after you but always exit first.
That may be a Groucho Marx line I think.

I have the same problem at the bar ............. im at the front of the que yet everyone else gets served

God do i know that feeling

That's usually when i get asked to leave , i dont like waiting

I'm exactly the same as you guys. Sometimes I get served quickly but other times... it makes me realise what I don't like about bars.
The waiting bit. I'm so impatient too. Never been chucked out of anywhere though... or not that I can remember.

I have been escorted out of a few dives by rather large men in my time

They're thinking about breathalysing people before they allow them into pubs& clubs before 9pm. Extreme on both sides!

That would not work in Holland as the Dutch are cheap and get pretty drunk before they go out to save money

That's why they do the checks - to catch those cheapskates who are already tanked up to the eyeballs!

I confess I used to do that, waaaay back when I was in my teens. Thunderbird and/or Strawberry MD 20/20! Followed by a few bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale. Oh my!! I feel at the mere thought of it now!

I must confess I've done it once or twice too. We won't mention the carpark episode....

Me neither. It has a sickly aroma which lingers around too much.

Its suprisingly strong.

I remember certain pubs in the 80s where your feet would almost stick to the floor as you walked up to the bar area. Then if you rested your elbow on the bar... the Bundy would also make that stick there too. A real turn off!

They swear by it though

Mate, don't worry. It's best in moderation anyway.
