Feels quite even to me. He gets two starters, I get two improvements at U21 and the money I want for my TP later

You get the better full back, £14m cash, and the better of the other player swap too. I think you win on all three parts of the deal!

I needed an attacking left back, who is actually a left back, and Dante is an upgrade to Coloccini. I didn't really want to lose Perin but goalkeepers matter so little that it seemed fair enough to push it through.

I think you underrate Filipe. The guy has been the best LB in La Liga for two seasons and ripped Chelsea to pieces in the supercup.

De Sciglio is decent but still learning and not at that level yet.

And don't forget he also got Dante, who has been Bayern's best CB this season

I'm not impressed with Dante, seen him four times for Bayern and the game against England on his international debut. Yet to inspire me into anything besides apathy.

I'm not under-rating Felipe, I'm over-rating De Sciglio. He's going to be Maldini-esque in longevity, and probably Costacurta-esque in ability. I'm all over him, like white on rice.

Dante has been the main reason for Bayern's impressive defensive record, especially away from home. He spends most of his time covering Badstuber.

You are probably right on De Sciglio, but he's not there yet. Apparantlly De Sciglio has an Azzy poster on his wall too

Well in hindsight £6m is too much cash if i'm honest, but a firm offer would be £4m + Motta = Toulalan.

Well considering the difference in TM values is less than £4m it seemed fairer.

What about Motta + £5m = Toulalan? Motta's hardly that much of a downgrade and as you said, Motta's Italian-ness helps the deal.

I'm not sure there is much that I could see between us. I'm looking at players to mix up my style a bit more and so that's the basis of me shelling Reus out on the open market. In truth being worth 26.5m is a major block to me selling him.

I need El Shaarawy too, he is both ITA and U21.
