I still see Murray winning this one. I don't think Berdych will be able to keep it up. The only player he seems to be able to maintain good form throughout a match is with Federer.

Fedsfan, berdych has always proved a tough match up for Murray, he even beat Murray in straights at French open. He can beat these guys in the big events like he beat fed at Wimbledon and us open. Tennis is so much about match ups and there must be something in the berdych game that gets in murrays head. Strange because Murray has good record against other big hitters like del potro and tsonga.

Berdych seems to like playing Murray. Long way to go still, will probably go to 3.

The BBC always try a bit too hard to convince the audience of Murray's ability, and it can get a bit annoying.

Really hope I get to see Novak on Friday evening for the first time. Always been a big fan over the years. Good win for Mr Murray, I thought Berdych might have done him in. I guess the court speed helped him out too as Berdych on a hard court is pretty difficult to beat, especially for Murray. Is it just me or does Berdych have an irritating habit of missing really easy put-aways at times?

I find the Murray Berdych match up quite puzzling. At times when Murray moves him around he makes him look ordinary, but for some reason he's the one big guy he can't do it to consistently. He also struggles with the Berdych serve more than anyone else. Strange.

Anyway... Quality opening exchanges in the Djokovic Tsonga match. Jo looking in the mood.

If Tsonga only had 2% more logic in his shots when it gets tight, he would be easily a top 3 player. Always screwing up when it matters, while being the better player of the match.

Yeah, Jo's biggest strength is that he launches into attack when you least expect it. His biggest weakness is that he launches into attack when he really shouldn't. He doesn't seem to base his attacks on when his footwork is ready for him to launch. When he wants to hit it, he'll hit it - regardless of what his feet tell him.

Good to watch, bizarre to watch, but ultimately his Achilles heel.

anyone watching the doubles, there've been some cracking matches so far. Wimbledon winners Marray and Nielsen have just fought back from 5-1 down in the super TB to take it 12-10. The point at 9-10 was pretty spectacular

tennis is all a bit meh so far though. Murray and Djokovic won yesterday without playing their best (or even particularly well), and Fed looks set to follow suit.

yeah the round robin stage is mainly about who will join the "big three" in the semis. I would put my money on Del Potro. Hard to imagine Ferrer doing some heroics after last week... And it would make that semi more interesting, Ferrer is a sure loser against either Djokovic or Murray.
